Mississippi Center for Clinical and Translational Research Services Voucher Program

The Mississippi Center for Clinical and Translational Research (MCCTR) is pleased to announce the availability of the MCCTR Services Voucher Program, a structured and efficient mechanism for clinical and translational researchers to request specialized research support services from MCCTR cores.

Voucher awards provide investigators with access to expert consultation, training, navigation services, and research support at no cost to the investigator. The program is designed to accelerate the development, implementation, and dissemination of innovative clinical and translational research projects and to strengthen research capacity across the state.

Eligibility

Applications are welcomed from investigators engaged in clinical, translational, community-engaged, population health, and related research activities. Faculty, trainees, and research teams seeking support for projects at any stage of development are encouraged to apply.

Voucher Application Components:

To be considered for a MCCTR services voucher, investigators must upload the following documents:

1. Research Project Specific Aims (maximum 1 page)
2. Research Strategy (maximum 3 pages)
3. Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)

In addition to the required uploads, applicants will be asked to provide:

• Investigator demographic information
• A free-text description of the research project and/or support being requested
• Plan for publishing data and/or using data in a grant application
• General questions for MCCTR staff and core personnel
• Selection of one or more requested services through a multi-select list of available core services

Review and Award Process

Applications will be reviewed by MCCTR leadership and relevant core personnel to determine:

• Alignment of the request with MCCTR resources and mission
• Scientific and translational merit of the proposed project
• Feasibility of providing the requested services
• Potential impact on research productivity and future funding opportunities
